Mike brings a wealth of clinical experience working with young people and adults. He began his career working in residential treatment with children who were in long term care due to a DCF placement. A focus on substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults, in inpatient care, outpatient treatment and school based interventions followed.
From providing school based mental health services for many years, an interest in school leadership led Mike to spend 10 years as a school administrator.
As an athlete Mike won several state championships as a distance runner, earning All-American honors. He continued his running career at St. John’s University, earning All-Big East honors and competing in the NCAA Championships. Following college, Mike coached a number of youth sports in the community, and at the middle and high school levels.
Mike’s interests lie in the areas of how ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and/or Trauma impact the lives of individuals and their families. These challenges can cause individuals to turn to a host of unhealthy behaviors and activities in an attempt to find relief. Helping individuals and families unravel the impediments to healthy living and develop constructive, adaptive and beneficial responses to those challenges.
He utilizes an eclectic approach to problem solving, matching a modality to the person. Some individuals respond well to a Cognitive-Behavioral approach, while others may benefit from a Solution-Focused experience. Regardless of the treatment technique, the work will emanate from a strength based perspective, building on the assets that each individual brings to the work.

Tucker is a social worker and mental performance coach who helps people better understand themselves, build confidence, and move forward with purpose. Tucker works with individuals across the lifespan, meeting clients where they are and creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for growth and change.
Tucker specializes in working with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, and depression, as well as those who feel stuck, unmotivated, or unsure of their next steps. With a practical and strengths-based approach, Tucker helps clients develop strategies that feel realistic and sustainable—whether that means improving focus, managing stress, building emotional awareness, or reconnecting with personal goals.
Blending the foundations of social work with mental performance coaching, Tucker focuses not only on addressing challenges, but also on helping clients identify what motivates them, what holds them back, and how they can show up more fully in their daily lives. Tucker believes meaningful change happens when people feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools they can actually use.
At the heart of Tucker’s work is a simple belief: everyone has the capacity to grow, and progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.
